Supply Chain Coordinator

About This Role

This position coordinates all processes and functions of a department, providing visibility to management through tracking, process oversight, auditing, researching, and troubleshooting operational issues. The role involves reconciling inventory and material flow, generating reports, and analyzing order and inventory data, while interacting with vendors and suppliers to ensure network efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Track shipments to ensure shipment deadlines are met
• Work with suppliers and carriers to correct part/shipment issues
• Timely and accurately communicate and document critical information to internal associates and customers
• Identify cost savings opportunities for the customer
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, uploading correct information to all systems and user communities
• Refer to financial and operational standards to make decisions impacting delivery dates and overall customer requirements
• Interact with vendors and suppliers on behalf of the customer to ensure network efficiency
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to learn and regularly operate multiple company and customer transportation management and inventory systems

• Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening

Nice to have:

• 1 year of Transportation Management experience, with a focus on shipment coordination
