Supply Chain Business Systems Analyst

Job#: 3048793 Job Description: Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Business Systems Analyst to support the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization within the Network Hardware Planning team. This role focuses on demand and supply planning analytics, supportability reporting, data validation, process improvement, and AI-enabled operational efficiency for network hardware planning.

The ideal candidate combines strong supply chain knowledge with advanced analytics skills and experience leveraging modern AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power BI AI capabilities, Cowork, or similar technologies. This individual will partner closely with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Sourcing, Engineering, and Operations teams to improve reporting accuracy, streamline planning processes, and enhance decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Network Hardware Planning activities by developing insights related to demand, supply, inventory, and supportability.
• Generate weekly and monthly supply planning and supportability assessments for network hardware programs.
• Analyze week-over-week changes in demand, supply, and inventory trends while identifying risks and supply gaps.
• Validate complex datasets and perform detailed data quality reviews to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Maintain traceability across demand, supply, inventory, and supportability metrics.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, reporting tools, and planning analytics to improve operational visibility.
• Create "what-if" scenario analyses to support planning decisions and evaluate supply impacts.
• Document data sources, calculations, business assumptions, and reporting methodologies.
• Partner with Engineering teams to develop internal tools, automation capabilities, and reporting enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled analytics, Copilot, and agent-based solutions to automate manual reporting and validation activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning processes, reporting standardization, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Component Planning, Sourcing, Engineering, and Execution teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in supply planning, supply chain operations, inventory planning, supply chain analytics, sourcing, manufacturing, or related functions.

• 1-2+ years of experience leveraging AI-enabled analytics tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Power BI AI capabilities, Cowork, GenAI assistants, or similar technologies to automate processes, generate insights, and improve reporting efficiency.

• Advanced proficiency in:

• Power BI

• MS SQL

• Kusto

• Excel

• Proven experience developing, enhancing, and optimizing business intelligence solutions, dashboards, and reporting tools.

• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to:

• Validate complex datasets

• Identify data discrepancies and root causes

• Implement corrective actions

• Ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity

• Experience performing detailed analysis of source data, calculations, assumptions, and planning methodologies.

• Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts including:

• Demand Planning

• Supply Planning

• Inventory Management

• Sourcing

• Supportability Analysis

• Experience creating Power BI reporting solutions that provide visibility into supply positions, risks, gaps, and what-if scenarios.

• Experience documenting business processes, reporting logic, calculations, assumptions, and data sources.

• Experience partnering with engineering teams to develop internal tools, reporting enhancements, and automation capabilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.

• Demonstrated problem-solving ability, project management skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

• Proven ability to operate independently as a self-starter with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting SAP planning and ERP environments including SAP BDA, SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP APO, or related platforms.
• Experience supporting Network Hardware Planning, Datacenter Operations, Cloud Infrastructure, or Technology Supply Chains.
• Experience implementing planning system transformations or MRP-enabled planning environments.
• Experience with workflow automation, AI agents, or machine learning-based planning solutions.
• Experience with supply chain data governance, master data management, and reporting standardization initiatives.
