Supplier Quality Engineer

Purpose of the job:

Qualification for new supplier and annual audit for available suppliers.

Control for performance of supplier as quality performance by daily, weekly and monthly to adapt requirement of company and Customer.

Control for quality of in-coming material to meet requirement of company and Customer.

Principal accountabilities/Main tasks:

1. Qualification for new supplier: QSA, QPA audit and approval for PPAP.
2. Conducting regular audits suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards.
3. Issue inspection checksheet, standard, procedure for in-coming material, measurement equipment Control for quality of in-coming material: COC, SGS, Cosmetic, function, ROHS...
4. Verify inspection result from supplier when receive in-coming material。
5. Issue claim list and to do return NG material to supplier. Get improvement action from supplier for issue, and verify efectiveness of actions
6. Handling and solving for process issue cause by raw material: Sorting or request supplier sorting, analyis cause and take out action from supplier, charge fee for supplier...
7. Providing guidance and support to employees in their work teams to ensure that they are performing their jobs effectively.
8. Maintaining quality management system such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001….
9. Monitoring and reporting on employee productivity to ensure that goals are being met.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / Electric or an equivalent combination of training, certification(s)
2. and experience.
3. Familiar with quality control tools as 7 QC Tools, GRR, FAI, CPK, MSA, PPAP
4. Strong ISO 9001, ISO 14001 quality system mgt knowledge and practice
5. Minimum 2 years solid experience in quality
6. Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills. And familiar with 8D report, CAPA
7. Excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
9. Strong technical proficiency in mechanical product knowledge.
10. Strong computer skills including MS Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Access.
11. Being patient and can work under pressure.
