About the role
Duties
As a SUPERVISORY SPACE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, you will:
- Serves as a conduit between the Space Management Branch Chief and a space management team, ensuring successful completion of assignments, providing project updates, coaching team members and identifying any issues or necessary resources to facilitate the execution of space management activities.
- Identifies resources; prepares and reviews copies of work, space plans and specifications; and develops and reviews cost estimates and project schedules for presentation to management.
- Participates in management briefings concerning space master planning. Coordinates the preparation of technical planning documents, including the Major Project Report and the travel budget.
- Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work. Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities.
- Performs the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised. Establishes guidelines and performance expectations for staff members.
Qualifications
GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level you must possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to the level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:GS-13
