Duties
- Utilize available resources to execute projects designed to create business value and meet organizational IT requirements.
- Provide leadership in C4 Information Management and Information Technology (C4IM/IT) that involves implementing and supporting theater and enterprise initiatives, projects, and programs.
- Define, evaluate, and improve information management functions across the RNEC's regional and installation geographical AOR.
- Support the RNEC in planning and budgeting, acquisition, management, and/or IT services for the regional.
- Direct the short- and long-range planning for the RNEC Division's operations.
- Provide expert technical advice, guidance and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical IT issues.
- Monitor contracts in support of staff activities, and in case of centralized procurement, administer contracts for region/installation wide requirements.

Experience required: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.
Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-13). Specialized experience is defined as work that involves assisting in the development of program goals, allocating resources, and providing technical advice and recommendations to management and other IT specialists.
AND applicants must possess each of the four competencies below:

You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency (knowledge, skills, abilities) in the following areas:
