Duties
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is located in the 123d Operations Group of the Kentucky Air National Guard. Its primary purpose is to supervise the activities of the Flight Engineers and the Flight Engineer program. Assigns work and administers qualification flights to personnel engaged in Flight Engineer activities with flight test and operations organizations. Checks ground and in flight performance of Flight Engineer personnel for compliance with applicable flight operations and aircraft maintenance technical orders and directives. Incumbent may be required to prepare for and support the mission through the accomplishment of duties pertaining to military training, military readiness, force protection and other mission related assignments including, but not limited to, training of traditional Guard members, CWDE/NBC training, exercise participation (ORE/ORI/UCI/MEI/OCI/IG, etc.), mobility exercise participation, FSTA/ATSO exercise participation, SABC training, LOAC training, weapons qualification training, participation in military formations, and medical mobility processing within the guidelines of NGB/ARNG/ANG/State/TAG rules, regulations and laws. Performs other duties as assigned. MILITARY COMPATIBILITY REQUIREMENTS**:**Selected candidate is required to be assigned to a compatible military unit and MOS/AFSC in accordance with TPR 303. AFSC:1A1XX

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**: Do you** possess experience that has provided knowledge of the full range of aircrew duties and responsibilities.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE**:Do you possess at least36** months:
Experience providing instruction, evaluation and examination on ground and operation training flights used to develop and upgrade skills of non-rated aircrew members; experience with the full range of aircrew duties and responsibilities, methods of instruction and requirements of the program while performing standardization, currency, instruction, proficiency, tactical, emergency and special tasks evaluation flights; experience as a Flight Engineer Instructor which include utilizing a knowledge of major aircraft systems associated with heavy and multiengine aircraft and the interrelationships of these systems and capabilities of the aircraft;experience leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
