Supervisor, Warehousing

About This Role

Supervising warehousing operations is the core of this position, which involves leading projects and processes of moderate complexity and potentially small teams. The role focuses on ensuring service, safety, productivity, and quality goals are met, while also managing labor costs and optimizing operational efficiency. It suits a candidate comfortable communicating directly with customers and solving complex operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support to team members with less experience
• Serve as a resource for colleagues
• Independently manage warehouse operations
• Ensure service, safety, productivity, and quality goals are achieved
• Manage labor costs and workforce planning
• Optimize operational efficiency
• Oversee a workforce of up to 25 employees, including coaching, development, performance management, and daily work direction
• Communicate directly with customers, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Solve complex operational challenges using subject matter expertise
• Leverage knowledge and experience to influence outcomes, support decision-making, and improve operational performance

Requirements

• At least 3 years of warehouse operations management experience, including direct leadership of frontline employees in warehouse, distribution, or logistics settings
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
