JOB SUMMARY
The Supervisor, Integrated Specialty Rehabilitation Programs provides operational, clinical, and programmatic leadership for rehabilitation services integrated within specialty physician practices, ambulatory service lines, and designated rehabilitation centers across the academic medical center.
The Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing rehabilitation programs that are embedded within multidisciplinary specialty practices, including Orthopedic Surgery, Sports Medicine, Hand Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Neurosciences, Primary Care, Women’s Health, and other clinical service lines.
This position serves as the operational bridge between Rehabilitation Therapies and specialty physician practices, ensuring rehabilitation services are seamlessly integrated into patient care pathways, improve patient access, enhance clinical outcomes, and support the strategic growth of specialty programs.
The Supervisor collaborates with physician leaders, ambulatory operations, nursing, advanced practice providers, athletic trainers, care management, and rehabilitation professionals to design innovative care models that improve patient experience, operational performance, and population health outcomes while advancing the academic, educational, and research missions of the organization.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Master’s or Clinical Doctorate preferred.
- Licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist eligible for Vermont licensure.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum three years of progressive specialty rehabilitation experience.
- Prior supervisory or lead therapist experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with physician practices.
