About the role

Duties

  • Possesses extensive knowledge in the operation and maintenance of storage dams, hydroelectric power plants, and associated facilities and equipment
  • Effectively communicates with management, peers, subordinates, water and power customer representatives, contractors, state and other Federal agency representatives, and members of the public
  • Supervises a diverse group of bargaining board craftspeople who are responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance
  • Plans and schedules routine and corrective maintenance and non-routine work activities such that the assigned facilities safely and reliably provide their respective authorized benefits and in a manner that ensures personnel safety
  • Manages all fieldwork pertaining to facility operations and maintenance program accomplishments.
  • Organizing, conducting, and documenting all phases of North American Electricity Reliability Corporation and Western Electricity Coordinating Council (NERC/WECC) related work.
