Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Functions Supervisor to join our team at the iconic MCG. As Functions Supervisor, you will be working closely with the functions, sales, and operations teams, including kitchens, to use your expertise to oversee various functions. What will you do?
- Coordinate and supervise event setup, service, and pack-down activities.
- Set up dining areas, cafés, meeting rooms, conference spaces, banquet halls, and event venues according to client requirements.
- Ensure tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, buffet stations, coffee stations, and service areas are correctly arranged.
- Conduct pre-event inspections to ensure venue presentation and operational readiness.
- Manage event timelines and ensure all activities run according to schedule.

- Experience in functions supervision
- Experience in events is beneficial
- Strong skills in computer literacy, communication, organisation, and attention to detail
- Ability to work varied hours to meet business demands
