Supervisor

About This Role

Supervising a catering team and ensuring excellent service standards is the core of this role, while also maintaining food safety, health and safety, and operational compliance. This position suits an experienced and motivated individual ready to lead.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a catering team to deliver excellent customer service
• Assist with food preparation and food service activities
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and company policies
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the catering operation
• Monitor service standards and lead by example
• Assist with stock control and ensure service areas are well presented
• Address operational issues and support team performance
• Complete any relevant documentation and due diligence checks as required

Requirements

• Previous catering experience is desirable
• Experience supervising or leading a team would be advantageous
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to motivate others
• Good understanding of food safety and health and safety practices
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude

Important Details

• Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday working pattern
• No weekends or bank holidays

• Successful candidates will be required to complete the necessary vetting checks prior to commencing employment
