Supervising field operations individuals to deliver high-quality results and foster professional growth is the core of this role. The Superintendent guides field teams and trade partners to foster a collaborative environment that anticipates and resolves varied construction challenges, ensuring smooth project execution. This role drives adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements, reinforcing a culture where every team member is empowered and accountable for maintaining a safe, inclusive, and high-performing jobsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of field individuals to achieve exceptional performance and encourage talent development
• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and organizational standards
• Manage coordination with project managers, self-perform team, subcontractors, and suppliers to schedule resources, resolve moderately complex issues, manage field related costs and change impacts, and maintain project momentum
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Review and approve daily field documentation, including progress reports, safety logs planning documentation (i.e. pre-task-plans), and incident records, to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Review and communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to project leadership and relevant stakeholders, proactively addressing concerns to support project success
• Align field operations with overall project objectives and client expectations, ensuring that daily decisions consistently drive successful project outcomes and strengthen long-term client relationships
• Direct on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards and reinforcing the organization’s reputation for general construction operational excellence
• Identify and integrate prefabrication strategies into construction planning and execution by coordinating with prefabrication teams, trade partners, and project leadership

Requirements

• Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience required
• 7 years of experience in field engineering, construction management, or a related field required
• 1 - 2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred
• First Aid and CPR certification required
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification within 6 months of hire required

• OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 certification
