About the role
Hydro Energy has more than 100 years of experience in the production of renewable energy. Today, we are one of the three largest operators of hydropower production in Norway and a large power market player in the Nordic region and Brazil. We are responsible for developing new business opportunities and providing support to Hydro’s business areas on contracts, security of supply, and energy framework conditions.
Energy Markets and Asset Intelligence play an important role in maximizing the value of Hydro's energy portfolio and power assets. Through market analysis, optimization, analytics, and digital solutions, we support better decision-making and contribute to Hydro's industrial ambitions and the green transition. In this internship, you will have the opportunity to work with data, analytical tools, and real business challenges within Hydro Energy.

What you will be doing
- Market analysis and decision support.
- Analyze business and market data and develop analytical models, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Support trading, optimization, and other data-driven initiatives within Hydro Energy.
What will make you successful?
- Master study in Technology, Energy, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Cybernetics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with KQL, SQL, and Python is an advantage.
