Job Description

REPORTS TO: Counselor
QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma; college degree preferred. Access to a personal computer and reliable internet
DUTIES:
- Schedule weekly on-site meetings with students to discuss progress, goals, or other school related issues.
- Maintain adequate documentation of student and parent contacts (Infinite Campus)
- Monitor student progress and provide encouragement and support in needed areas.
- Update parents monthly regarding their student's progress.
- Make home visits as needed.
- Work to create and maintain a positive school culture and climate.
- Collaborate with counselors and other school personnel to create ways to foster positive student and parent relations,
- Assist students in setting and reaching daily/weekly goals.
- Ensure that students receive updated information regarding school activities, dual enrollment options, and other school related events or opportunities.
- Make appropriate referrals to counselors and social workers when needed.
- All other duties assigned by the Counselor.
Primary Location: Regional Office - Remote
Salary Range: $18.50-$18.50/ Per Hour
