Job Summary

A subject matter expert (SME) is the definitive source of knowledge, technique, or expertise in a specific subject area, such as Title Search. The SME functions as the organizational ambassador for his knowledge area, and he applies his expertise to support an organization s vision and strategic direction.

Competencies

  • Key players in the title insurance industry and their approaches Guiding teams on the nature of the domain and providing domain insights related to the day to day work of the Post-Production process
  • Guiding teams on the working of the product and optimal usage of them. Resolving problems and identifying opportunities for improvement on usage of these products
  • Suggesting enhancements to these tools to improve the existing process. Conducting trainings on usage of these tools and applications for freshers. Applying and adapting best practices across industries"
  • State specific procedures to ensure compliance to the legal and contractual obligations- Extracting and scanning documents in the Title reports into the document repository
  • Suggesting new processes and guidelines to be followed in the Assembly & Imaging process
  • Guiding teams on the end to end scanning process
  • Taking decisions on complex scanning documents and historical documents
  • Different types of maps provided for the city and/ or county for recording of the property. Rules and regulations of each state to understand the mapping difference
  • Expert knowledge of different types of legal description. Interpreting complex and large legal descriptions and using it to create the various maps such as Location Maps, Plotted Easements Map
  • Identifying and applying keyboard functions for both alpha or numeric keyboard functions-keyboard shortcuts technique to complete tasks- speed and accuracy in accordance with work requirements

Technical Skills

  • FAST, Eagle Pro, Eagle Search Product, ArcGis/ICO Maps and Deed Plotter, etc.
  • Data Tree, Data Trace, RDRI, Title Scan, etc.

Educational Qualification and Experience

  • Minimum of 13 years of formal education Graduate
  • Professional work experience of 2 to 5 years
