Student - Project Coordinator

About This Role

This student project coordinator role is with one of North America's largest general contractors, working within the Buildings division on a variety of construction projects. The position offers hands-on experience, exposure to real project challenges, and the opportunity to learn from industry professionals in a safe, diverse, and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day project coordination by helping update schedules and budgets
• Track labor, materials, and equipment
• Report progress to the Project Manager
• Work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to identify potential construction issues and support smooth project execution
• Assist with project documentation including meeting notes, action items, drawings, revisions, site instructions, and change orders
• Help manage project changes by tracking scope changes, preparing change notices, and supporting the change management process
• Contribute to safety and quality by assisting with the project safety plan and ensuring project instructions and clarifications are properly documented

Requirements

• Enrolled in Bachelor of (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical) Engineering, Construction Management, or Engineering Technology Program
• Willingness to work out of town on rotational schedules
• Able to support coordination and documentation tasks
