Summary of Job Duties:

We are seeking motivated interns to join our team in the following areas of interest:

• Library Sciences

This is an unpaid internship designed to provide hands-on learning experiences aligned with your field of study. This internship is governed by an agreement between The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, emphasizing a shared commitment to education and workforce development. Interns will gain hands-on learning experiences aligned with their field of study while adhering to UAMS policies, including patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications:

Eligibility:

• Open to undergraduate and graduate students who meet eligibility criteria.
• Placement is contingent upon staff availability and business needs.

Key Responsibilities of Interns:

• Participate in practical learning experiences guided by qualified UAMS staff.
• Complete assigned tasks, including safety, confidentiality, and professional conduct training.
• Adhere to UAMS policies and provide required documentation (e.g., vaccinations).
