Strategic Sourcing Specialist

About This Role

This strategic sourcing specialist role involves managing global procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and sourcing projects across various business services, facilities, and enterprise operations. The position suits an experienced professional in procurement and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end sourcing projects, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and contract execution
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, onboarding, performance, and compliance
• Support facilities management, warehouse operations, logistics, MRO, and enterprise business services
• Support supplier transitions, TSA exits, and global expansion initiatives
• Collaborate with global stakeholders to optimise costs, improve procurement processes, and ensure operational continuity

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or contract management
• Experience in supplier negotiations, sourcing projects, and contract lifecycle management
• Knowledge of facilities, MRO, logistics, business services, or operational procurement
• Strong commercial, analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent English communication skills

Nice to have:

• Dutch language skills
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, Coupa, or similar procurement platforms
• Healthcare or other regulated-industry experience

Important Details

• Contract: 6–12 months
• Start date: ASAP
• Schedule: European working hours with flexibility for US PST calls
• Travel: occasional travel as required
• Work format: fully remote initially; 2–3 days onsite once the hub is established
