Strategic Sourcing Specialist

About This Role

This role involves conducting research, sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and engaging with candidates to find the best talent. The specialist will implement cost-effective recruitment strategies and build a network of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Implement and utilize cost-effective recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified and diverse candidates
• Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals
• Prescreen and paper screen candidates by reviewing resumes and conducting phone screenings
• Create tracking systems for all candidates and the internal database
• Collaborate with managers and possibly other departments to identify future talent needs and proactively source potential virtual professional candidates
• Utilize all channels, online portals, and social networking sites to source and connect with potential candidates; manage job boards and job postings
• Measure and report sourcing metrics on a real-time basis

Requirements

• 2-3 years of proven work experience as a Sourcing Specialist or any similar role
• Extensive experience in using different channels, social network sites, online portals, and resume databases to source potential candidates
• Hands-on experience in using tools, applications, and systems for talent acquisition
• Familiarity in creating sourcing plans and implementing strategies to improve candidate search
• Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Hands-on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference check, etc.)
