Role Description The Store Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Nashville, TN. The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, including supervising team members, delegating tasks, managing schedules, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor. This role is responsible for driving sales, ensuring high standards of customer service, monitoring inventory, and executing merchandising and promotional activities. The Store Manager also enforces retail loss prevention practices, manages cash handling procedures, and helps create an inclusive, engaging work environment. Additional responsibilities include coaching and developing staff, supporting onboarding and training, and partnering with leadership to meet performance and operational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a commitment to creating a positive in-store experience.
- Demonstrated Store Management experience, including supervising teams, managing operations, and driving sales in a retail environment.
- Effective Communication skills, with the ability to provide clear direction, feedback, and support to team members and customers.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including monitoring store activity, safeguarding assets, and following company policies and procedures.
- Previous retail leadership experience, preferably in specialty or lifestyle brands.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with basic point-of-sale systems and retail software; willingness to learn new tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, retail management, or related fields is beneficial.
