Duties
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide expert product knowledge to enhance their shopping experience
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners to load, unload, and organize merchandise efficiently
- Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, replenishment, and proper product placement
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading shipments safely using forklifts or manual handling techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment, including merchandising displays and storage areas
- Support retail sales by processing transactions at the cashier station with accuracy and friendly service
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment like forklifts and ensure safe lifting practices are followed during heavy lifting tasks
Qualifications
- Previous retail store experience or warehouse operations background is highly preferred
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and the use of RF scanners is a plus
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling tools safely
- Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, merchandising, and inventory control
- Capable of manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Basic math skills for retail transactions, inventory counts, and measurements
- Proven customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
