Role Overview: Join as a Retail Store Associate to ensure smooth store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. Your key duties include restocking shelves, slicing deli meat, receiving products, assisting customers, and processing transactions while maintaining a clean, inviting environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers professionally, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain proper store conditions through stocking, cleaning, and rotating products.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all areas, following food safety regulations.
- Minimize shrinkage by resolving pricing discrepancies promptly.
- Operate and maintain store equipment safely and properly.
- Support other departments as needed and collaborate on storewide promotions.
- Perform additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Basic retail store knowledge; customer service skills; accurate vision; ability to learn product locations.
- Physical ability to stand, lift up to 80 lbs, and handle frequent motions like reaching, bending, and walking.
- Ability to operate various kitchen and store equipment, including slicers, ovens, and scales.
- Preferred 0-2 years of retail experience.
Additional Details: Positions may include roles such as cashier, deli clerk, produce clerk, bakery clerk, floral clerk, grocery clerk, dairy/frozen clerk, or utility clerk. The environment involves working in temperature ranges from 50F to 90F. Qualifications include attendance, initiative, safety awareness, and commitment to quality.
