Responsibilities
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are accurately labeled and neatly arranged to enhance the shopping experience
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse
- Conduct inventory control activities including stock counts, cycle counts, and updating inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading shipments efficiently while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing products according to store standards and assisting with product packaging as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area to promote safety and operational efficiency
- Communicate effectively with team members across departments to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth warehouse operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or retail store environments with familiarity in stocking, inventory management, and materials handling
- Ability to operate equipment such as RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and product placement
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing or walking for extended periods
- Basic math skills for counting stock, processing shipments, and managing inventory records
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude toward colleagues and customers alike
- Knowledge of retail sales processes, merchandising standards, and grocery store operations is advantageous
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently during all manual handling activities
