This role involves maintaining accurate inventory, stocking shelves, and safely handling materials within warehouse and retail environments. Responsibilities
- Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are properly labeled and organized for easy customer access
- Operate material handling equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling tools to load and unload shipments safely
- Conduct inventory control activities including stock counts, cycle counts, and updating inventory management systems accurately
- Assist customers with product locations, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service in a friendly manner
- Support shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading trucks efficiently while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and sales floor to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members on merchandising efforts, stocking schedules, and store maintenance tasks
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or retail store experience is highly preferred
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling tools
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory control and stock management
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely throughout the shift
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and processing transactions accurately
- Knowledge of retail product knowledge, merchandising standards, and store operations is advantageous
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
