Stocker

About This Role

How the company's rail cars are stocked plays a huge part in the overall guest experience and the success of its operations. This job is responsible for ensuring the proper stocking of all items placed onto the domed rail cars, working outside and enjoying the land of the midnight sun.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of entry-level cleaning tasks
• Routinely check and record inventory
• Restock supplies, and clean facilities and equipment
• Monitor all inventory and proper rotation of products
• Stock ice in all train freezers
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
• Routinely fill out logs and forms for time and temperature checks of food items, coolers, freezers, and sanitation buckets
• Properly dispose of all trash and recyclables
• Destock train cars, ensure proper rotation of products, and complete detailed documentation
• Follow all end of night procedures including nightly cleaning and organizing checklists, proper storage of product and checkouts with supervisor or management

Requirements

• Some experience in positions involving food handling and sanitation is normally preferred
• Must pass a pre-employment background check
• Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently, occasionally up to 70 pounds
• Ability to prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment
• Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, and supervise and manage staff
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals
• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including health and safety standards
• Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day
