Stocker

About This Role

Stock team members are reliable, energetic, and team-driven individuals who are ready to work in a fast-paced environment. They are detail-oriented, able to multitask and complete assignments, while providing excellent customer service. This role involves all functions related to receiving, breaking down, and stocking merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner
• Arrive at workstation on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhere to all equipment safety procedures as instructed and comply with all health and safety procedures
• Stock and clean grocery shelves, frozen and dairy cases
• Keep aisles clean and clutter-free
• Follow directions and procedures, match UPC codes to shelf tags for proper stocking, rotating merchandise, and keeping shelves fronted
• Assist with unloading trucks and breaking down and stocking merchandise
• Learn basic knowledge and location of department products
• Perform other duties as assigned by store or team leadership

Requirements

• Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with a sense of urgency
• Strong communication skills, works well in team environment
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to walk or stand for 8 hours and sometimes exceeding
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, lift, reach above shoulder height
• Ability to work in cold and wet environment
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
