STNA State Tested Nursing Assistant Night Shift 12 Hours 7pm-7am Join the Canal Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center team and make a difference in the lives of our residents!
As a State Tested Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents on our night shift. This 12-hour shift is the perfect opportunity to balance your work and personal life while making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.
About the STNA State Tested Nursing Assistant Role:
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, under the supervision of a licensed nurse
- Assists with feeding, toileting, and transferring residents as needed
- Monitor and record vital signs, report changes to nursing staff, and document resident care
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues
- Participate in therapeutic activities, recreation programs, and other events to promote resident engagement and well-being
STNA State Tested Nursing Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized care to residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment, adhering to infection control protocols and facility policies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff members to ensure seamless care transitions
- Attend meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities to stay current with industry best practices and updates

STNA State Tested Nursing Assistant Requirements:
- Current STNA certification in the state of Ohio
- Prior experience in a long term care setting or related field preferred
