Sterile Processing Technician

About This Role

Supporting safe and high-quality surgical care is the purpose of this role, by ensuring that all instruments are thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and readily available. This position suits a Sterile Processing Technician with a strong focus on safety and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and organize surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards
• Monitor sterilization cycles, document results, and resolve issues promptly to deliver on the commitment to safe, high-quality care
• Prepare and organize instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs
• Safely handle and dispose of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized
• Work closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• 2 years of experience
