About the role

Traditional high schools define success by grades and standardized test scores. At Founders School, success is defined by launched ventures, real problems solved, and students accomplishing what most adults would deem impossible.

We seek someone capable of motivating, challenging, and developing driven teenage entrepreneurs as they launch actual companies, harness AI, and pursue ambitions typically reserved for adulthood.

If high standards, significant ownership, and guiding exceptional young people toward extraordinary results energizes you, continue reading.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Propel daily execution and forward momentum across your assigned student cohort through standups, coaching conversations, and accountability frameworks.
  • Lead weekly one-on-one coaching and daily touchpoints that enable students to navigate challenges and sustain progress.
  • Track student activity in FounderOS, spot stagnation early, and arrange support resources as required.
  • Facilitate connections between students and mentors, founders, operators, and growth opportunities.
  • Design and deliver workshops, events, and community programming that deepen culture and elevate performance expectations.
  • Demonstrate hands-on AI application and guide students in embedding AI into their ventures, workflows, and strategic thinking.
  • Accompany students on 3-4 school trips annually.

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Delivering advanced strategic business advisory as students develop their companies. That function belongs to FounderOS, Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, and external mentors.
  • Tolerating output that sits below a student's proven capability.
  • Instructing traditional academic coursework. The academic platform and team manage that domain.
  • Facilitating workshops beyond your skill set.
  • Offering generic connections or materials that fail to meet Founders School quality standards.

  • Capacity to capture the focus of ambitious teenagers and cultivate an environment they are drawn to.
  • Skill in delivering challenging feedback that strengthens both motivation and output.
  • Regular use of AI tools with concrete demonstrations of how AI enhances your productivity.
  • Willingness to work on-site in New York City (relocation assistance available).
