About This Role
This role involves connecting with startups to expand the company's pipeline, communicating with founders, generating leads, and building relationships. It is suitable for someone proactive who enjoys discovering startups and working in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential startups through LinkedIn, startup platforms, communities, events, and other channels
- Manage initial communication, schedule meetings, and maintain professional relationships with founders through calls, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and email
- Introduce Connecto Ventures and understand the basic requirements of startups
- Generate and maintain a pipeline of startup leads and follow-up records
- Follow up with interested founders and schedule discussions with the core team
- Maintain and update lead and follow-up records
- Assist with basic LinkedIn and social media posts and updates
- Support startup events, webinars, communities, and ecosystem networking activities
- Maintain professional relationships with founders and startup ecosystem members
Requirements
- Good communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with active outreach to startup founders and business professionals
- Basic understanding of startups, entrepreneurship, or business
- Ability to research and generate leads
- Basic knowledge of LinkedIn and social media
- Proactive, organized, and willing to learn
- Prior experience in startup outreach, business development, sales, or marketing is an advantage
