Position Overview:

Staffing Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing needs and requirements.
- Handle shift changes, call-offs, and scheduling conflicts promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance and hours worked.
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new staff members.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws.
- Provide support and assistance to staff regarding scheduling and shift-related inquiries.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to improving staffing processes.
Staffing Coordinator Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Staffing Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in HR or healthcare administration is a plus.
