Your Key Responsibilities:
- Build and Manage Schedules: Create, maintain, and adjust daily and weekly schedules that match Care Professionals to clients based on skills, availability, location, and compatibility.
- Fill Shifts Quickly: Respond promptly to call-offs, last-minute changes, and open shifts to ensure no client is left without care, including coordinating coverage for urgent and same-day needs.
- Optimize Continuity of Care: Prioritize consistent Care Professional–client pairings to build trust and deliver the highest quality of care.
- Coordinate with the Team: Work closely with the care team, on-call staff, and leadership to align staffing with client care plans and changing needs.
- Communicate Effectively: Serve as the key point of contact between Care Professionals and clients regarding scheduling, availability, and shift confirmations.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Keep precise, up-to-date records of schedules, availability, time-off requests, and staffing changes in the scheduling system.
- Monitor Availability: Track Care Professional availability, hours, and overtime to balance workloads and control costs while meeting client needs.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Client Connections: Conduct client/Care Professional introductions and quality assurance visits as needed.
- On-Call Support: Participate in the on-call rotation to handle after-hours scheduling needs as required.
- Support Retention: Help foster positive relationships with Care Professionals to support engagement and retention.
Qualification (required):
- Scheduling/Staffing Experience: Minimum 3 years of scheduling or staffing coordination experience, preferably in home care, home health, hospice, or a healthcare setting.
- Availability: This is primarily an in-office role with the ability to respond flexibly to urgent staffing needs, including occasional after-hours coverage.
- Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using scheduling software and general office/computer tools. If you have worked with Wellsky, it is added advantage
- Skills for Success: Highly organized, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for serving the community.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
