About the role
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An urgent opportunity is available for an experienced Retail Pharmacist to support a grocery store-based pharmacy in South Dakota. This contract role extends for 13+ weeks, offering up to 40 hours per week in a fast-paced retail setting.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately fill and verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
- Review and check pharmacy technician work for quality and compliance
- Provide clear and compassionate patient counseling
- Handle incoming pharmacy and patient phone calls professionally
- Assist with daily retail pharmacy operations to maintain smooth workflow
- Support the Pharmacist-in-Charge with additional duties as required
Qualifications And Desired Experience
- Active South Dakota Pharmacist license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
- Strong communication skills with a focus on excellent patient service
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within the pharmacy team
