About This Role
Providing comprehensive patient care to members is the core of this Staff Pharmacist role, which involves accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling members on their healthcare needs. The position also ensures compliance with company and legal policies, maintaining confidential information and required documentation.
Responsibilities
- Process and accurately dispense prescription orders
- Administer immunizations
- Counsel members regarding health care and prescription medication needs
- Maintain confidential information, controlled medications, and required documentation
- Model, enforce, and provide direction and guidance to associates on proper member service approaches and techniques
- Ensure member needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas
- Analyze and interpret reports
- Implement and monitor loss prevention and safety controls
- Oversee safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews
- Develop and implement action plans
- Provide direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives
- Maintain confidential information, documentation, and assigned records as required by company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines
