Staff Accountant

About This Role

The Staff Accountant will focus on month-end close activities, reconciliations, and consolidations. This role also supports international accounting, validations, and the global consolidation system, working closely with accounting and finance personnel across multiple countries and various department heads.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements and schedules
• Assist with administering the global accounting consolidating system
• Provide support to external auditors and tax preparers as requested
• Prepare monthly validation files for multiple international entities
• Continuously identify opportunities for improvement on existing accounting processes in order to help develop greater department efficiencies
• Research technical accounting literature to ensure proper accounting treatment is followed
• Partner with multiple departments and operating stations to help them understand their monthly financial performance
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with all policies and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• 2+ years in an accounting role (Required)
• High proficiency in Office suite
