Senior Technical Field Engineer | Sydney, NSW
Are you a hands-on IT professional who enjoys solving complex technical issues onsite and working directly with customers? We're looking for a Senior Technical Field Engineer to join our team and support large, enterprise-level client environments across Australia.
What You'll Be Doing
🔹 Deliver onsite support for hardware, software, server, and storage infrastructure
🔹 Perform break-fix repairs, troubleshooting, upgrades, and preventive maintenance
🔹 Manage service incidents from initiation through resolution
🔹 Install, configure, and maintain customer IT environments
🔹 Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using advanced tools and methodologies
🔹 Provide technical guidance and mentoring to fellow engineers
🔹 Identify recurring issues and drive service improvement initiatives
🔹 Maintain accurate service documentation and reporting
🔹 Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service delivery
What We're Looking For
✅ Minimum 2 years' experience in Field Engineering, Desktop Support, Infrastructure Support, or a similar technical role
✅ Strong experience with hardware maintenance, installations, and troubleshooting
✅ Experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure in customer-facing environments
✅ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
✅ Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team
✅ Strong communication and customer service skills
✅ Technical certifications or an Associate Degree are highly regarded
Mandatory Requirements
🔒 Australian Citizenship
🔒 Active Australian Security Clearance (Baseline or NV1)
🔒 Valid Australian Driver's Licence
