About the role
- Ensure stable product supply and proactively address supply risks by aligning end-to-end supply chain functions.
- Participate actively in S&OP processes, facilitating seamless communication between Commercial, Finance, Quality, and global supply chain teams.
- Monitor key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with demand/supply planning, order management, logistics, and inventory teams to optimize supply chain performance.
- Lead and support supply chain activities critical to new product launches, technology transfers, and product lifecycle management.
- Coordinate SCM-related project deliverables, timelines, risks, and mitigation actions within cross-functional project teams.
- Establish and maintain effective, long-term relationships with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), packaging suppliers, and other external partners.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance focusing on supply reliability, quality, delivery, and overall operational execution.
- Maintain and improve material master data required for operations, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across global and local ERP systems.
- Support SAP/ERP enhancements, process improvements, and data governance initiatives in a growing pharmaceutical organization.
【求められる経験・スキル / Required Experience And Skills】
- Experience Requirement: Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, or procurement, ideally within pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, or other regulated industries (GMP/GDP understanding is preferred).
- Specialized Expertise: Demonstrated experience supporting new product launches, technology transfers, and working directly with CMOs and external partners is highly desirable.
- Systems Capability: Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong analytical skills using Excel (Power BI experience is a plus).
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Science, Logistics, or a related field.
- Language Skills: Native or Fluent Japanese combined with Business-level English proficiency to communicate effectively in meetings and collaborate with global stakeholders.
