Responsibilities

• Define system-level architecture for advanced semiconductor products, including compute, memory, connectivity, security, and supporting subsystems.
• Evaluate architectural options based on performance, power, die area, latency, scalability, technical risk, and cost.
• Create high-level specifications, partitioning strategies, and integration plans for complex SoC designs.
• Guide the implementation of high-speed connectivity technologies such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB, SerDes, CXL, UCIe, and related protocols.
• Establish requirements for bandwidth, data flow, coherency, buffering, quality of service, and interoperability.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a senior or principal-level SoC architect, with responsibility for multiple complex semiconductor designs from product requirements and initial architecture through integration, verification, and tapeout.
• Broad, platform-level architecture experience across complete SoC designs rather than specialization in a single subsystem or application domain.
• Demonstrated ability to translate product and business requirements into top-level architecture, subsystem definitions, interface requirements, and implementation strategies.
• Deep expertise in high-speed I/O architecture and integration, including technologies such as PCIe, Ethernet, CXL, UCIe, USB, and advanced SerDes.
• Strong knowledge of compute, memory, coherent interconnect, security, peripheral, and system-control architectures.
