Sr. Product Marketing Specialist

About This Role

This role is for a Product Marketing Specialist III who will drive market success for innovative scientific solutions within Thermo Fisher Scientific. You will develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to expand market share, launch new products, and strengthen customer relationships. The position involves collaborating with various teams to analyze market trends, create compelling content, and implement data-driven campaigns that highlight product value.

Responsibilities

• Grow market share, market coverage, brand availability, brand awareness, and customer preference
• Provide strategic direction to a team of sales professionals belonging to Thermo Fisher Scientific, Distributors / Dealers and Manager Projects
• Guide regional promotions, new product launching, marketing programs, and transparency
• Drive workshops, seminars, and conferences with the help and assistance of Marketing and Commercial Head
• Collect market intelligence and the latest information on various competitor activities, then formulate result-oriented sales schemes in consultation with the Marketing Leader for various customers and markets
• Achieve privileged relationships with existing key accounts and customers, and acquire new customers from competition
• Perform routine field training with company sales personnel to improve their awareness of product applications and technologies
• Answer technical and applications questions in support of sales opportunities

Requirements

• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of product marketing or related experience in the scientific/healthcare industry
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and business metrics
• Excellence in project management and collaboration
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an adaptable environment
• English language proficiency required; additional languages valuable
• Scientific/technical knowledge relevant to product portfolio
• Experience creating marketing materials and content across multiple channels
• Ability to build relationships with customers, KOLs, and internal stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms
• Product lifecycle management experience

Important Details

• Schedule: Standard (Monday-Friday)
• Travel: Up to 25% may be required
