Sr. Product Manager - Cheers CRM, MyChart

Our healthcare client is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Manager to serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams within the Epic EMR ecosystem. This role is responsible for translating business needs into scalable solutions, defining product strategy and requirements, managing the product backlog, and ensuring successful delivery of enhancements and projects. The ideal candidate brings strong Epic expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience working in Agile environments. Candidates with Epic Cheers CRM and/or MyChart experience are strongly preferred.  The Basics

• Duration: 6 month assignment
• Hours per Week: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week
• Location: Preference for onsite in Abbott Park, IL; remote candidates will be considered if they possess strong Epic experience

Top 3 Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Epic experience, including experience with Epic Cheers CRM and/or MyChart
• Current Epic certification or recently expired Epic certification
• Experience gathering business requirements, creating user stories and acceptance criteria, and partnering with technical teams to deliver solutions

Other Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Product Management experience
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Experience using Jira and Confluence
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capabilities
• Experience working within healthcare technology or EMR environments preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, challenges, and strategic objectives
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable product backlog items
• Own the product vision, roadmap, prioritization, and backlog management for designated Epic capabilities
• Collaborate closely with Epic delivery and technical teams to define and implement effective solutions
• Facilitate intake, assessment, prioritization, and delivery of product enhancements and initiatives
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and improved user experience
• Validate completed work and ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality expectations
• Support Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews
• Communicate project status, priorities, risks, and decisions to business and technical stakeholders
• Drive successful implementation and adoption of Epic-based solutions, with a focus on Cheers CRM and MyChart capabilities when applicable
