About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Manager, Business Development Operations to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.
This role will shape growth strategy and operational rigor across the business development function. The ideal candidate will translate market and customer intelligence into actionable priorities that strengthen execution and support commercial outcomes. You will partner closely with sales and cross-functional stakeholders to improve the full sales lifecycle, clarify the value proposition, and bring governance and consistency to strategic initiatives.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $127,600 – $212,600 annually
Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize growth strategy based on market and customer intelligence.
- Map and evaluate the sales lifecycle, identifying opportunities and gaps.
- Shape and communicate the company's value proposition to various customer segments.
- Design and implement a win/loss feedback program to inform strategic changes.
- Establish governance structures that ensure team alignment and consistency in execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years in strategy, business development, or consulting, preferably from a top-tier firm.
- Master of Business Administration is preferred.
- Proficient in AI tools, such as Copilot and Claude, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional strategic projects with measurable outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills for financial modeling and understanding market shifts.
