Sr Internal Communications Specialist

About This Role

This senior communications specialist role at Honeywell focuses on internal and external communications for the Process Technology business. The specialist will develop and implement communication strategies to enhance brand presence and engage target audiences in the energy sector, working on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Develop and produce high-quality content for various channels, including internal memos, press releases, social media posts, and byline articles
• Ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice across all communications
• Support internal communication initiatives by creating informative and engaging content for employees
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to promote organizational changes and achievements
• Assist in media relations activities as requested
• Coordinate media inquiries and prepare materials for media outreach
• Manage and grow Process Technology social media presence by developing engaging content and monitoring online interactions
• Analyze social media metrics to optimize performance and engagement
• Assist in the execution of Process Technology events, including product launches, trade shows, and community engagement activities
• Develop promotional materials and ensure effective communication before, during, and after events
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in communications and public relations

Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in writing, editing, and verbal communication
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand development
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with graphic design and multimedia content creation
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
• Experience in the technology or manufacturing industry
• Excellent storytelling and content creation skills to engage diverse audiences
