ACME Garments Unit, a garments manufacturing concern with operations in Woven and Sweater manufacturing , is looking for a competent and analytical professional for the position of Sr. Executive (Cost & Budget) .
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze and verify order-wise cost sheets and budgets for Woven and Sweater products.
- Review yarn, fabric, trims, accessories and other raw material consumption to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare budget vs. actual cost variance reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Sourcing, Planning, Production, IE, Wash, Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure accurate costing and budget control.
- Prepare, maintain and update BOMs (Bill of Materials), costing databases and budget records.
- Support management with cost analysis, margin evaluation, product pricing and profitability analysis.
- Monitor yarn prices, material consumption and production costs to improve overall cost efficiency.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports related to costing, budgeting and cost control.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years
- Education: master of commerce (m.com.)
- Skills: garment costing, garment manufacturing, technical knowledge of garment production, garment production, garment industry knowledge, costing and budgeting, apparel sourcing
