SENIOR ENGINEER, IT TIME SYSTEM KRONOS

  • Key contributor in the comprehensive delivery of high-quality support to end users on UKG/Kronos and SAP SuccessFactors (SF) Time Management.
  • Developing user/client requirements and documenting business and technical implementation plan.
  • Develop program specifications for system components.
  • Developing system interfaces using UKG utilities and SAP integration capabilities.
  • Providing security and user maintenance functions.
  • Providing management and users with ongoing project status and issues resolution.
  • Test and review the quality of developed programs, integrations and configuration changes.
  • Test and review the quality of overall system(s) including end-to-end data flows (Capture > Approval > Payroll/HR Downstream).
  • Assure quality and integrity of final production implementation – compliance with committed function, dates, data integrity, and performance and audit requirements.
  • Support UKG to SAP time migration initiatives, including data mapping, process harmonization, integration readiness, testing strategy and cutover execution.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for developing, testing, debugging and managing UKG application.
  • Provide administration and operational support for SAP SuccessFactors Time Management (e.g. time recording, absence/time off integration points, time valuation where applicable, and related permissions/security.
  • Use of knowledge and experience to resolve difficult problems submitted by end-users across UKG and SAP time environments.
  • Participates in design and implementation of complex projects while ensuring adherence to the compliance and security guidelines of the organization
  • Ensure suitable Disaster Recovery plans are created and maintained
  • Lead and/or support migration from UKG to SAP Time including:
  1. Assessment of current UKG configurations and business processes
  2. Target-state design alignment (global template vs local legal requirements)
  3. Data mapping and conversion strategies
  4. Integration redesign including parallel runs and reconciliation.
  5. Test planning and execution (unit, SIT, UAT). Defect triage and stabilization
  6. Cutover planning, hypercare support and transition to steady state operations.
  • Supporting migration of new sites and countries to SAP SF Time management aligned to global standards.
  • Collaborates with external teams and stakeholders to coordinate deliverables.
  • Writes testable, performant code with unit tests and documents the features and approaches
  • Provide directions to and review work of team members around configuration, integrations, security roles and interfaces

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-year degree in a related field or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • Experience Target: 5+ years of relevant experience
  • SAP-first experience (preferred): Hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and SF Time Management (implementation and/or production support)
  • Migration experience (highly preferred): Proven experience supporting or delivering time system migration programs, ideally UK/Kronos>SAP SF Time Management, including parallel testing, cutover, and hypercare
  • UK experience (supporting requirement): Strong experience with Kronos/UK Time and Attendance, Absence, and Attestation
  • UKG tools: Working knowledge of UKG Workforce Integration Manager (WIM) and Workforce Setup Data Manager (SDM)
  • Technical/data skills: Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server (preferred), especially for reporting, reconciliation, and troubleshooting
  • Delivery capability: Strong business analytics, project planning, and deployment experience
  • Core competencies: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP SuccessFactors Time Management Certification is a plus
