About the role
Our financial services client is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Jenkins, Harness, Groovy, Python, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions to support enterprise CI/CD, deployment automation, and GitOps initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness, and GitHub Actions.
- Develop automation and deployment scripts in Groovy and Python.
- Implement and support GitOps-based deployments with ArgoCD.
- Automate build, test, release, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot pipeline, deployment, and production support issues.
- Partner with Development, Infrastructure, and Security teams to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.
- Promote DevOps best practices, automation, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Jenkins
- Harness
- Groovy
- Python
- ArgoCD
- GitHub Actions
- Experience building and supporting enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of Git, GitOps, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred
- Financial services industry experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and infrastructure automation.
