The team you will be a part of
The Merchandising team develops marketing, merchandising and creative strategies and affiliated programs to promote the organization's products and services through the Internet or other digital channels to increase exposure to and business from the target audience.
This role in summary
As the Senior Category Analyst for Stoves, you will drive the end-to-end strategy and P&L management for the category, acting as the key link between trade, supply chain, and innovation teams. Your main priorities will be ensuring sustainable profitability, growing market share, and leading successful product launches from conception to go-to-market execution.
Your responsibilities will include
- Manage the category's P&L, coordinating top-line initiatives with Trade teams and bottom-line efficiencies with Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
- Conduct comprehensive market, competitor, and portfolio analyses leveraging the 4Ps of Marketing to identify growth opportunities and ensure business competitiveness.
- Lead the end-to-end product launch process in partnership with Innovation and Brand teams (Brastemp and Consul), from project conception and channel strategy to go-to-market execution.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs), specifically focusing on Market Share growth and category profitability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders to align business strategies and ensure cohesive execution across all sales channels.
Minimum requirements
- Proven experience in Category Management, Product Marketing, or Trade Marketing, ideally within the consumer goods or home appliance industry.
- Good understanding of financial metrics (P&L) and end-to-end supply chain processes.
- Advanced analytical skills with solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google tools (Sheets, Presentation, etc)
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
Preferred skills and experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Post-graduate degree, MBA, or specialization in Marketing, Business, or Project Management.
- Familiarity with market intelligence tools (e.g., GfK, Nielsen) to extract actionable consumer and market insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
