About This Role
The SQL Developer plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex SQL Server database solutions. This position suits a highly motivated individual with strong hands-on expertise in SQL Development and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain complex SQL Server database solutions.
- Build and support ETL processes using Databricks and SSIS.
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports and SSAS analytical models.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve database and ETL-related production issues in real time.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of deliverables.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for client production support and data platform initiatives.
- Collaborate with business users, architects, developers, and infrastructure teams.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of data systems.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in SQL Development and Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience in SQL Server Development.
- Advanced SQL Coding, Query Optimization, and Performance Tuning.
- Writing complex Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Views.
- Strong experience in ETL development using Databricks.
- Extensive experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services).
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Experience working with large-scale databases and production systems.
- Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies.
- Experience supporting production environments and handling critical incidents.
