SQL DBA

About This Role

Supporting the core infrastructure of the organisation is the purpose of this SQL DBA role. You will lead a critical uplift project, bringing antiquated SQL servers back into compliance and ensuring robust security. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on the organisation's systems, with potential to extend and evolve into strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Solid SQL skills for complex system navigation and upgrades
• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve system issues
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects
• Excellent communication and personable skills for stakeholder engagement
• Experience with antiquated operating systems and in-place production upgrades
• Applicants must have a valid work visa, permanent residency or NZ citizenship to be considered

• Business Analyst (BA) skills to gather requirements and bridge technical / business needs

Important Details

• Schedule: hybrid role requiring individual to fly to and from Dunedin
