About This Role
This instructor role at Kaisei Acupuncture and Moxibustion Clinic Tsukiguma involves working in a bright and welcoming osteopathic clinic, helping patients improve their posture and achieve pain relief through various treatments and training. Responsibilities
- Perform general instructor and therapist duties in an osteopathic clinic
- Provide treatment using training, manual techniques, and electrotherapy
- Improve posture based on posture analysis
- Create treatment plans
- Conduct counseling and posture analysis using dedicated apps and tools
- Create personalized improvement programs for each customer
- Share information with treatment staff (judo therapists and acupuncturists)
- Provide one-on-one training guidance (weight training, functional training, etc.)
- Conduct initial trial counseling and body composition/movement evaluations
- Instruct on correct form and body usage to prevent pain
- Complete medical record entries and participate in coordination meetings with treatment staff
- Support clinic operations (SNS communication, equipment maintenance, etc.)
- Perform other duties related to osteopathic clinic operations
Requirements
- Passionate about improving patients' pain
- Bright and highly communicative
- Able to value teamwork
- Highly motivated to grow
- Hold relevant instructor/trainer qualifications (e.g., Pilates qualifications like BASI, PHI, STOTT; Yoga instructor like RYT200; NESTA, NSCA, JATI)
- At least 1 year of practical experience (any genre; personal or group training)
Nice to have:
- Experience in posture improvement and functional training guidance
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Interest in collaborating with medical professionals such as judo therapists
