Sports Performance Coach

About This Role

This coaching role is for a sports performance coach who will use their expertise, energy, and excitement to help redefine what's possible in athletic performance. You will work directly with clients, apply Exos' cutting-edge methodology, and empower people to perform at their best. The role suits someone passionate about coaching and ready to grow with a world-class organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site evaluations using proprietary assessment protocols to understand client health, performance, and readiness for training
• Update and adapt training plans for clients to ensure they are on track for success, fine-tuning based on progress and performance
• Maintain constant communication with clients, providing guidance, motivation, and feedback to ensure they are meeting their performance goals
• Partner with employers to lead various engagement activities, such as “lunch & learns,” campus activities, and wellness fairs, driving excitement and awareness
• Represent Exos by delivering educational programs that showcase its proven methodology and cutting-edge practices
• Report on key metrics like attendance, client engagement, and outreach to track program impact and help drive continuous improvement
• Actively participate in planning, designing, and developing programs to enhance offerings and support research in sports science
• Contribute to staff education and training, delivering insights and instruction in line with Exos methodology
• Maintain Exos standards by adhering to established policies, continually upgrading professional credentials, and attending required continuing education

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, or related field
• Minimum two years of personal training or strength coaching experience, or completion of Exos Performance Specialist Internship
• Current industry certification
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
• Proven ability to create effective, individualized exercise plans
• Experience leading group fitness classes with emphasis on technique improvement
• Strong presentation skills for both small and large group settings
• Exceptional customer service skills, prioritizing client success and support

Nice to have:

• Master's degree
• NSCA-CSCS or NASM certification
